the pettijohn unit is going dark...

friends and family...and people we don't know...

after much himming and hawing, we've decided that the pettijohn blog is going dark.

aka: we're going private.

it's not you, it's us. only it kind of is you, because we don't know who some of you are. we've been tracking our readers and we have some readers in foreign lands...huh? i can't imagine that anyone in china cares about how i am currently addicted to apple jacks cereal and how i eat it when owen isn't around so that i don't have to share. but maybe they find that kind of thing interesting.

in all honesty, the internet and all it's information sharing is kind of starting to stress me out...and if i'm going to post pictures and stories about my little poopy pant darlings, i want to make sure i know who's seeing them :)

that being said, if you'd like to be in the pettijohn blog club, please let me know so that i can add your e-mail address! we welcome you! and it's ok if i don't know you...as long as you aren't creepy. i totally understand being the friend of a friend of a friend and blog stalking said friend. i do it. i'm not ashamed. so you shouldn't be either. no shame 'round here.

this way, you can stay up to date on all of the exciting pettijohn news. like how owen has taken to throwing tantrums and giving kisses and pooping in the bathtub. and like how we just had a DARLING little doll faced baby girl named abigail jane...who sometimes makes faces like an old man.

and so, i give you this heads up. it won't happen right this very minute. first i have to figure out how to make my blog private. details, details...
